What i think what this quote actuality means is that if you have attitude then you should have a nice attitude you should be a nice person then you could be more popular and more people will .like you it can have lots of befits to it like you can have a higher self of stem it is always good to be nice because you know that you  have  done something good and as the saying go when you do good you feel good.
