what i think this quote means is that if you are working hard at doing something it will pay off because you know that you have done it over and over and you can do it with your eyes close because you have done it so many times it pays off. for example if you had to play a game and you tried and tried and you work hard on it but if you didn't it s going to be more hard for you because you barley even practice but for the kid that did practice it is going to be a piece of cake for them. it is always better to practice because you know you work hard on that topic and you don't have to worry about not knowing because you can trust that you worked hard.
