what i think this quote is talking about is that the people that are doing great things  not just for them self  but for others as well i think if you are doing good then you see someone is in need  then you help them you are not making yourself look good but others because you decided to help them out. i think when you help others it makes you feel better about yourself because then you can be see as a trust worthy person. because if you do lies and cheat that does make you good at anything just a bad not trust worthy person.what i think to be good is to always do what is right.
